Woman IPS Nithika Pant has been appointed as DCP of the task force. 2017 IPS batch Nitika Pant is currently the DCP of Cyberabad Women Septy. But the task force is crucial in the police department. This is the first time that a woman has been appointed as the DCP of such a crucial task force.
Radhakishan Rao, who is currently DCP of the task force, has been transferred. Even after his retirement, he has continued in that position for four years. The EC has taken action against Radhakishan Rao, who has been working in a key task force for a long time, in the context of elections to be held in Telangana.
