Hyderabad, April 29 (PMI): BJP National President JP Nadda today addressed a public meeting in Kothagudem and Mahabubabad. He emphasized the BJP’s dedication to holistic development and preservation of tribal culture, while also aiming to integratae non-tribal communities into the mainstream to promote inclusivity and national development.
During the event, BJP District president Ranga Kiran, Rajya Sabha MP K. Lakshman, MLC P. Sudhkar Reddy, Kothagudem Lok Sabha candidate T. Vinod Rao, Mahabubabad Lok Sabha candidate Prof. Azmeera Seetaram Naik, MLA K. V. Ramana Reddy among other leaders were present.
Nadda commenced his address by seeking the blessings of the Sitaramchandra Swami Mandir, referred to as the Ayodhya of the South and Swami Balaji, Jamalpur Venkteshwar Mandir. He paid homage to the spiritual leader Sevalal Maharaj, who dedicated his entire life to the uplift of the Banjara community.
Nadda highlighted that in the last 10 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the country and redefined its political culture. He said under Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP aims to form a strong government. He said under PM Narendra Modi leadership, the surgical strike was carried out, allowing Indian forces to enter Pakistan and strike their bases. Similarly, just 10 days after the Pulwama attack, an air strike in Pakistan’s Balakot destroyed terrorist camps.
Nadda stated that within the next five years, a system will be established through which gas connections will transition from cylinders to pipelines directly to homes. He said Narendra Modi has given special attention to Telangana. Warangal and Karimnagar have been added to the Smart City project, with a budget of ₹2,700 crore allocated for it. The PM Mitra Textile Park is being launched in Kakatiya. The budget for railway track lines in Telangana has been increased. Additionally, ₹1,410 crore have been set aside for the electrification project of the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar line and development work is in progress.
Nadda emphasized that the Hyderabad-Indore Economic Corridor, Surat-Chennai Economic Corridor, Hyderabad-Panaji Corridor and Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Corridor under the Bharatmala project will bring remarkable changes to Telangana’s development. Construction of the Nagpur-Vijayawada Economic Corridor, which is currently underway, will greatly aid in the development of the Kothagudem region.
Nadda said Congress party has been involved in various scams including Coal, Agusta Westland, submarine, sugar, rice and numerous others. He accused the parties of Lalu, Akhilesh, Mamata, DMK and BRS of engaging in corruption as well. Many leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, P. Chidambaram and others from the INDI alliance, are out on bail. K. Kavitha, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are currently in jail. Nadda appealed to the public to give a large margin of victory to BJP candidates and to re-elect Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for a third term. (PMI)
