Komati calls Union Budget as “Anti-Telangana”

Hyderabad, : Congress MP from Bhongir Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday alleged that the grave injustice was meted out to Telangana State in the Union budget due to the failure of the State government.
Responding on the Union budget after its presentation, Venkat Reddy said the budget was quite disappointing. He said the Centre did not care for the farmers of the country. He also said there was no mention of any of the promises made in the AP Reorganization Act. He termed the budget as anti-Telangana budget.
Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had sung peans of PM Narendra Modi in his first             five-year term, he said the PM did not give anything to the State despite the lavish praise by KCR. He also said no funds were allocated to the Tribal University of the State and sports. He said there was no mention of national status to Kaleswaram project and Bayyaram steel factory in the budget.
