CYBERABAD POLICE APPREHENDED INTER-STATE DACOITY GANG & RECOVERED GOLD ORNAMENTS ABOUT 25 KGs:

Hyderabad Jan 23 (PMI): The Cyberabad Police today apprehended interstate dacoits Gang who committed dacoity in Muthoot Finance at Hosur, Krishnagiri District of Tamilnadu state and a Case was registered as Cr No. 32/2021 U/S 395, 397 IPC and Sec. 27(1) of Indian Arms Act of Hudco Police Station, Krishnagiri District T.N State and recovered Gold ornaments weighing about  25 KGs,  (7)  Weapons, (10) Magazine, (97) Rounds, (01) Lorry Container, (01) Sumo, (13) Cell phones and Rs. 93,000/- Net Cash.  The accused names as follows.

The accused are total nine in number belongs to various States of India out of them five (5) from Madhya Pradesh, Two (2) from Jharkhand, Two from Uttar Pradesh. The accused Amith @ Vivek Shukla of Madhya Pradesh is absconding and accused Lulya Pandey, R/o. Nagpur, Maharashtra (Originally from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh) Weapon Dealer.

Out of nine accused four of them namely (i) Amit, Shanker (ii) Rup Singh (iii) Sujeeth Singh Sourabh and (iv) Roshan Singh are the habitual offenders and during October 2020 they have attempted dacoity in Ludhiana, Punjab State in Muthoot Finance wherein the accused Sujeeth Singh, Sourabh and Roshan Singh were arrested red-handedly and the remaining 2 accused (Vivek Shukla & Shankar Singh) remained absconding till today. The Shankar Singh Baghal (A3) is also involved in one murder case.

The accused persons are Interstate Dacoity Gang. About three months back the accused Rup Singh Baghal (A-1) and Amit (A-2) both went to Bangalore for committing offences. Apparently they were planning to commit dacoity since a month by staying in a rented room at Bangalore. Rup Singh Baghal (A-1) informed that he knows one Lulya Pandey (A-9) who supplies weapons to them. On that Rup Singh (A-1) has called his own brother Shanker Singh Baghal (A-3). The accused Vivek Mandal (A-6) and Bhupendhar Maji (A-5) are friends and had developed acquaintance with Amith (A-2) while working in Ranchi, Jharkhand State. About 15 days prior to the offence, Shanker (A-3) and Pavan (A-4) had come to Bangalore and were residing in a rented room with Amit (A-2). Rup Singh Baghal (A-1) conducted recede at several branches of Muthoot Finance. Finally they have selected one Muthoot Finance at Hosur of Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu State which had two entry roads front and backside of bank to escape easily after committing the offence. After selecting the place, about 15 days back Amith (A-2) has visited thrice and observed the entire area and videographed the same in his cell phone. He also visited the finance company as a bonafide customer. Then Rup Singh Baghal (A-1) has called to Shanker Singh Baghal (A-3) and Pavan Kumar Vishkarma(A-4). The Container Lorry owner Kaushal Kumar and Amith @ Vivek Shukla (A-2) are well known to each other. About 5 days back Amith (A2) has met with Lulya Pandey and brought seven weapon Pistols, 10 Magazines, 97 Rounds in Container Vehicle bearing No. HR-55-V-XXXX. Further they have planned to commit the offence and to transport the stolen property in a container vehicle. The Container Vehicle bearing No. HR-55-V-XXXX had gone to Kerala with a load of new bikes. After unloading the same, then the owner Kaushal Kumar has instructed the Driver Teak Ram (A-7) and Cleaner Rajiv Kumar (A-8) to follow the instructions of Amit @ Vivek Shulka (A-2). Amit @ Vivek Shulka (A-2) has contacted the Driver Teak Ram (A-7) and instructed him to park the vehicle in Bangalore – Tamilnadu Border. Accordingly the driver Teak Ram (A-7) and Cleaner Rajiv Kumar (A-8) have parked the Vehicle. As per their plan, on 22-01-2021 morning at about 09:15 hours the accused 6 persons have gone to Hosur on their three bikes (Two Pulsars and One Apache). Rup Singh Baghal (A-1) and Shanker Singh Baghal (A-3) stood outside of Muthoot Finance observing the movements and the remaining accused Amit @ Vivek Shukla (A-2), Pavan Kumar Vishkarma (A-4), Bhupendhar Manji (A-5), Vivek Mandal (A-6) gained ingress wearing face masks, two persons among them wore helmets and threatened the employees on the point of weapons and robbed about 25 K.Gs of mortgaged Gold Ornaments and decamped with the booty. Thay reached to Bangalore-Tamil Nadu border and met the driver Teak Ram (A-7) and cleaner where they parked the container vehicle and kept the robbed ornaments in a box which was made for keeping the ornaments and on the directions of Lulya Pandey (A-9) proceeded towards Nagpur with the said container vehicle along with Amith (A-2). The remaining accused persons followed the container vehicle in Sumo vehicle which was hired in Bangalore then shifted to another hire vehicle in Ananthapur.

After the offence, S.P. Krishnagiri District Sri B.Gangadhar, IPS, and Muthoot Finance representatives have informed over phone to CP Cyberabad Sri. V.C Sajjanar, IPS. Hyderabad CP Sri. Anjani Kumar, IPS. Rachakonda CP Sri. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, IPS. About the offence and requested to check the vehicles which were moving towards North India and apprehend accused if found. Immediately we have alerted all bordering police stations and arranged armed police check post at Raikal Toll Plaza, Shamshabad Toll Plaza and instructed DCP Shamshabad N. Praksh Reddy, IPS. Cyberabad Traffic DCP S.M. Vijay Kumar, IPS, DCP Crimes Smt. Rohini Priyadarshini, IPS, Addl. DCP SOT Sri. G. Sundeep, Addl. DCP Crimes Indira, Addl.DCsP (AR CYB) Sri. Manik Raj, DCP (Crimes) Rachakonda Sri. P. Yadagiri, OSD (Taskforce) Hyderabad Sri. Radhakrishna, Inspector Task Force North Zone Nageshwar Rao Hyderabad to monitor. The vehicle passed from Raikal Toll Plaza then the SOT Shamshabad Staff Yadaiah PC, Balu Rathod and Ravi Kumar have identified the vehicle of accused and passed on the message to DCP Shamshabad Sri. N. Prakash Reddy and as per the directions of DCP Shamshabad the staff i.e. Prakash Reddy SHOs Shamshabad, Vijay Kumar RGI Airport, Shadnagar, SHO Sridhar, RGIA Traffic Inspector Ramakrishna and DSI Shadnagar B. Venkatesh and their staff Inspectors SOT Shamshabad K. Venkat Reddy, CCS Shamshabad Kanakaiah, CCS Balanagar Venkat Reddy and CCS Madhapur Prasanna Kumar apprehended the accused with TATA Sumo bearing No. AP-02-K-XXXX and on the information passed the Inspectors of SOT Balanagar Ramana Reddy and SOT Madhapur V. Sudheer Kumar have intercepted the container vehicle at Medchal which contains robbed property and weapons.

DCP A.R., Inspectors of SOT Sri K.Venkat Reddy, Sri V.Sudheer Kumar, Sri Ramana Reddy, Task Force Inspector Sri Nageshwar Rao, Inspector Vijay Kumar, Tamilnadu Police, S.Is of SOT Sri K.Rajeshwar Reddy, K.Ravi Kumar, Sri Ch.Harishankar, Inspectors of CCS Sri K.Kanakaiah, Sri E.Venkat Reddy, Sri V.Prasanna Kumar, Sri Y.Prakash Reddy Inspector Shamshabad Sri P.Vijay Kumar Inspector RGIA, Sri V.Ramakrishna Inspector RGIA Traffic, Sri MGS Ramakrishna C.I Shadnangar Rural, Sri K.Venkateshwarlu DSI Shadnagar B, Venkatesh and Sri Vijay S.I Shadnagar who conducted dedicated efforts in detecting the case.
