Karimnagar: July 10, 2017 Unable to bear repeated harassment and accusations of practicing black magic, one whole family committed suicide In Karimnagar on Monday.
The incident was brought to light after the neighbours found the family of five hanging in their house.
The couple Komuraiah and Komuramma, both labourers, hanged their young daughters Yellamma (10), Komala (6) and Anjali (3) before hanging themselves. They lived in Kandugula in Huzurabad Mandal of Karimnagar district.
The couple who earned their daily wages working hard was repeatedly harassed by their relatives belonging to the (Gangireddula) caste and neighbours accusing them of practicing Black Magic.
The couple was also warned by the Panchayath to give up those acts. Unable to bear the pressure and humiliation the couple decided to end their lives.
Police have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem, reported the sources.
