Batch mets of CP CV Anand expressed monumental praisefor TSPICC while visiting it on the reunion of the 91-91 IPS batch at Hyderabad

Hyderabad’Dec’16’2022 (Press media of india) Sixty IPS officers of the 1991/92 batch and their families who had their 30 th reunion seminar at National Police Academy,cherished one more memory through key take aways of insights, ideas for addressing challenges in their respective assignments by visiting the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate and the Telangana state Police Integrated Command and Control center(TSPICCC). Being at senior positions in their respective states across the country, their visit was in line with the framework of exchanging experiences, knowledge, expertise and exploring the best practices.
City Police Commissioner Mr.CV Anand escorted the group.Enthused by the grandeur contours of the elite police infra, they proceeded to tour the facility accompanied by senior officials of city police.
The work spaces and the interior sections of the state-of-the art the building, left the officers and their wards awestruck. They had candid conversations exchanging a whole lot of professional knowledge and experiences which they gained in their 3 decades of public service and acknowledged that the elite police infra stands as testament of prologue to the modern Technological revolution in policing in Telangana
Explaining the features of the command and control center to them ,CP Anand said that the facility aggregates information across multiple applications, CCTVs, traffic & weather sensors deployed across the state, and then provide actionable information with appropriate visualization for decision makers. He also explained to his batchmates on how the application smartly works in the backend to trigger alerts on crowd gathering, geo-fence alerts, un-attended baggage, traffic congestion etc., “This also embraces the state emergency operational centre (Dial 100), multi-agency operation center fostering a collaborative approach to respond to any disaster or calamity swiftly.” he said.
The presentation also dwelt upon the recent novel initiatives including SMASH,H-NEW,Operation ROPE etc., and apprised them about the diverse culture, challenges in policing the mega-metropolitan city.
“As senior officers we function as the strategic bridge and thorough fare in studying & materialising initiatives that would enhance public safety.It is quite exciting to know how the City Police are leveraging technology by leaps and bounds in crime prevention, detection, traffic management and Law & order” said Mr Gaurav Yadav, DGP of Punjab . OP Singh DG admin in Haryana and Harmeet Singh , CP Guwahati said they ll be taking back these experiences to their Governments for replication .
Most of the officers who are now working as HODs of key police wings across India were highly appreciative of Telangana Government for according top priority to public safety & Security. “The closer nexus between the peace, Law & Order and the sustainable, inclusive economic growth is evident here in Telangana which excelled across all spheres.” they said
Officers also visited the musuem, helipad, auditorium and explored other key sections in the building. They discussed topics of common interest and brainstormed on ways to strengthen and enhance cooperation in the fields of police work.
