Hyderabad; 07 April 2024 ( ALI ABBAS – PMI ): Addl DCP South Zone Shaik Jahangir said in media conference today that on 05.04.2024 at 09:45 hrs received a complaint from Sri Mohammed Dasthagiri S/o Mohammed Sardhar Age: 35 yrs Occ: Auto Driver R/o 17-5-180, Chandsab Ka Alwava Mathaki khidkiki Mirchowk, Hyderabad, Cell: 8686466937 stating that, on 04/05-04-2024 after driving his auto AP09TB2273 for local passengers for whole intervening night and after completion of his morning prayers at 05:30 hrs, he parked his auto at Chilla on Salarjung Museum Road, Dharulshifa, Hyderabad to take some rest. A few minutes later on 05-04-2024 at about 06:30 hrs, an auto was stopped beside his auto in which two persons were accompanied by a driver. Among them, one person was in the driver’s seat. Two other persons came to Sri Mohammed Dasthagiri and among them, one person carried a knife standing right to him and another person was standing left of him. Immediately the person who was carrying the knife kept Sri Mohammed Dasthagiri in fear of injury and stabbed his left leg thigh due to which he received bleeding injuries he handed over his mobile Samsung J7(from pant left side pocket) and money Rs.500/-(from shirt pocket) to him. Meanwhile time the person who is left to Sri Mohammed Dasthagiri cut the pant left packet with a blade. While leaving the place again they threatened him to hand over the money and the person who was right to Sri Mohammed Dasthagiri stabbed him again on the right leg thigh with the knife and sped away from the spot in the same auto. Later Sri Mohammed Dasthagiri came to the Police Station and was sent to OGH for treatment as he sustained bleeding injuries on his both thighs. After completion of treatment, he came to the Police Station and complained. Hence, requested to take necessary action against the three persons and he can able to identify them if he saw them again.
