Hyderabad Aug 26 (PMI): In an ongoing drive against repeat offenders in Cyberabad Commissionerate, Sri V.C. Sajjanar, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has invoked Detention order under the P.D Act as “Goonda” against the following accused.

1. A-1 Vupthala Anand @ Ananthi S/o Yadaiah, 27 years, occ: Lorry driver, R/O Shanthinagar, Chandanagar N/O Chekrala village, Shivampet Mandal, Sangareddy District.
2. A-2 Jarpati Yadaiah @ Chinna Yadaiah S/O Pedda Ramulu, 28 years, Occ; Labour work, R/O H .No 7-188, Shanthinagar, Chandanagar.
3. A-3 Jarpati Yadaiah S/O Late Chinna Ramulu, 35 years, Occ; Tractor Driver, R/O H. No 7-157, Shanthinagar, Chandanagar.
4. Prakash Nagesh Shinde @ Santhosh Kumar Shinde @ Santosh Shinde @ Prakash Shinde @ Sanju @ Arjun Hari Babu Bhosle @ Hari babu S/O Nagesh Shinde @ Manohar Shinde @ Hari, 42 years, occ: Business R/O Tapovan, Amrutdam, Sant Janardhan Swami Math, Panchvati, Nashik, Maharastra State.

 The accused A-1 to A-3 are residents of Shantinagar, Chandanagar. They have been addicted to bad vices and conspired together to commit House Burglaries during the night time to earn easy money. They used to move in an auto searching for the locked houses and break open the locks with an Iron rod and gain entry into the house and subsequently break open the locks of almirah and commit theft of Gold, silver ornaments and cash. They involved in five (5) cases in a span of five months from September 2019 to February 2020, in the limits of Chandanagar Police Station of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

In other case, the accused Prakash Shinde is a native of Nasik, Maharashtra State. He desired to commit property offences to get easy money and formed a gang with seven associates. He obtained identity cards for himself in another name i.e Prakash Nagesh Shinde S/o Nagesh Shinde and created Aadhar card, Driving license, Pan Card, Voter card. He used to commute by train from Nasik and commit offences. He conducts recce on locked houses clad in black coloured dresses, along with his associates, open the grills of the windows or bolts of the doors using cutters, iron rods and screwdrivers, enter into the house and commit theft of Gold, Silver ornaments and cash from the almirah in the house. While committing offences other associates used to keep waiting nearby and observe the movements of local people and neighboures and alert them by giving signals through torch lights, whistles etc. After committing offence they used to return Nasik by train the same day and sell the booty and share it among them. He started committing offences from the year 2011 and involved in as many as 28 cases till 2019 under different Police station limits of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other States. Of them, three cases in Shamshabad, one case in Kothur and one case in Shadnagar P.S are of Cyberabad Commissionerate. He has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody from Shamshabad Police Station, Cyberabad.

As his acts are considered to be prejudicial to the maintenance of public order he has been detained under Preventive Detention (PD) Act to keep him out of the society for a considerable period in the prison and to prevent him from committing further such offences.
