Govt orders Pass Books printing

Hyderabad,  Finally Telangana Government has expedited the process of providing farmers with Pattadar Pass Books with details. A deal has been signed between Security Printing Press of India and Telangana Government for printing about 70 lakhs pass books simultaneously at four places across the country.

The State Government has taken a decision to distribute the Pass Books to the farmers in all districts on March 11. They will be printed inHyderabad, Nasik in Maharashtra, Devas in Madhya Pradesh and Noida in Uttar Pradesh states. As per the agreement more than 2.5 lakh pass books will be printed every day. The Government through its survey founded that about 1.4 lakh acres of cultivable land is available in all districts. The survey recommended for distributing about 70lakh books among the farmers and the government is getting ready to do so. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has approved green colour to the pass books to be in passport size will have 20 pages with 18 security features. They will also have Aadhar number and finger print of the farmer and other details like bank account number, mobile number.
