Hyderabad Sep 6 (Press Note): Thousands of Zaireen from neighboring states and districts of Hyderabad have arrived in the city to participate in the mourning rituals of Arbayeen-e-Imaam Hussain^a.s to mark the 40th day Chehlum of Shohda-e-Karbala (Arbayeen). A procession will be taken out on 20th Safar-Al-Muzaffar 1445 (H) corresponding to 7th September 2023 Thursday at 1 o’clock from Masjid e Jafferi, Kotlay Alijah to Darulshifa. Hazrat Imam Hussain^a.s the second grandson of Prophet Mohammed Mustafa^s.a.w.s was martyred along with his 71 companion in the battle of Karbala on the day of Ashoora 10th Moharram 61(H) to protect Islam from the hands of Yazeed bin Muavia (clan of Abusufian). All the people across the globe irrespective of religion, cast and creed and even people who do not believe in Almighty Allah (God) they also pay tribute and give respect to martyrdom of Imam Hussain^a.s.

The Alam- e- Mubarak of Imam-e-Zain-ul-Abedin^a.s will be installed in the presence of president Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S, registered No 2529 of 1996 Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat and his body members inside Masjid-e-Jaffari Kotlay Alijah Hyderabad, and Alambardars Mr Mir Hasan Ali Khan @ Tahwar and his brother Mir Hussain Ali Khan @ Azhar sons of Late Qari Mir Shujaat Ali Khan (life time treasurer of MAMG registered No 2529 of 1996) and the son and grandsons of Late Mir Shafaqat Ali Khan.

According to the president of Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S (Registered) Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat (Senior Journalist), 25 organizations (Matami Anjumans/Gurohaan) will participate mourning procession and perform Khooni Matam (self-flagellation) by beating their chests, Matami Anjumans/Gurohaan (mourners) will offer Self- flagellation all along the procession route. The officials and President of Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S (Registered) will supervise the procession which will start from Masjid Jafari Kotla Alijah pass through Etebar Chowk, Mir Alam Mandi, Purani Haveli and culminate at Alwa-e-Sartauq Mubarak Darulshifa, Hyderabad.

From Kotla Alijah the Matami procession will be led by Anjuman Parwana e Shabbir^a.s with Alam-e-Mubarak of Imam-e-Zain-ul-Abedin^a.s till Purani Haveli and from there Tanveer Agha Khorasani, president of Guroh-e- Jaffari (Agha Abbasi) reciting Nouha with Alam Mubarak will arrive at Darulshifa, while Guroh-e-Asghar Besheer will take out the Alam Mubarak of Jabir Ibn Abdullah Ansari, the first Zair (visitor) to Imam Hussain^a.s grave and will proceed from Darulshifa in the opposite direction to receive Alam-e-Mubarak of Imam-e-Zain-ul-Abedin^a.s . The meeting of the two Alam e Mubarak will take place on Darulshifa road.

The office bearers of the Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S,  Syed Ameer Ali Razvi @ Shahnawaz, Mir Mazhar Ali Khan Rizvi, Syed Ali Abbas Abidi, Syed Ali Raza Abidi, Syed Najabat Hussain Abdi, Askari Hussain, Abid Ali, Amir Ali Chhote bhai, Mir Hasan Ali Khan Rizvi, Mir Saadat Ali, Shabbir, Mir Haider. Ali Rizvi, Maqsood Ali Khan. The members of the working committee of the Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S (Registered) said that a large number of mourners have already reached Hyderabad from various districts of Telangana and neighboring states to participate in the Markazi Juloos (Procession) of Chehlum-e-Imam Hussain^a.s. Shia community members and their social organizations are engaged in arranging accommodation and food for the Zaireen.

According to Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner of Police South Zone Sri P. Sai Chaitanya IPS elaborate Law & Order bandobast and traffic management has been arranged in view of the Arbayeen procession.
