Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakarslams Sanjay for questioning Congress on implementation of promises

Siddipet, April 28 (PMI): Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar lashed out at BJP candidate for Karimnagar Lok Sabha Bandi Sanjay for questioning the Congress government on the implementation of promises.

Six former sarpanches of BRS and a member of MPTC joined the Congress party in the presence of Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at Koheda village in Siddipet district on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Ponnam Prabhakar said that the BJP government at the Centre didn’t implement even a single promise mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to allocate funds and other projects to the Telangana during the last ten years.

“Bandi Sanjay, instead of questioning the Congress government in Telangana, should explain what the union government has done to the State and why it didn’t implement promises of the AP Reorganisation Act,” Ponnam asked.

The Minister dared Bandi Sanjay to show a single development work done by the BJP government in Karimnagar district.

“If Sanjay proves that the Modi government has implemented the promises made during its ten-year rule, the Congress will withdraw from the contest in Karimnagar,” Ponnam said.

The Minister said the BJP Lok Sabha candidate didn’t have any rights to question the Congress government on the implementation of promises as the latter lost credibility among the people after he was removed from the post of BJP State unit president on corruption charges.

He urged the people to extend their support for Congress party in the Lok Sabha polls and to teach a fitting lesson to Bandi Sanjay who has utterly failed to discharge his duties as MP. (PMI)
