Hyderabad, Dec.9 (PMI): The Telangana High Court on Monday asked the State government to preserve the dead bodies of the police encounter victims till Friday of the week. It also asked the state government to shift the dead bodies from Mahabubnagar Medical College to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad.
A division bench of the HC passed the orders while dealing with two public interest litigation filed on the issue of the encounter of the four accused of sensational Disha murder case. During the course of the hearing of the case, the HC asked the advocate general of the State if they followed the guidelines framed by the supreme court of India in encounter cases. Replying to this the AG told the court that they complied with all the guidelines of the Supreme Court in the issue. This has prompted the court to ask the AG to submit relevant evidence to support their claims.
The AG informed the court that the Supreme Court had heard a case related to the same case and adjourned the matter till Wednesday he urged the HC to adjourn the matter till Thursday. This has prompted the HC to adjourn the hearing of the case till December 12
