Hyderabad, November 16 (Press media of india): The nomination period for assembly elections is over. Contesting candidates are ramping up their campaign. Henceforth the election campaign will intensify. The leadership of the respective parties focused on campaigning in the capital city. With the campaigns and road shows of BRS, Congress, BJP and MIM leaders, the political buzz in the city is going to increase. As the election heats up, there is a possibility of disputes between the respective parties. It is in this background that the police are increasing the security by considering all the matters. Central forces have already reached the city. As part of the five state elections going on across the country, the first phase of the elections was held in Chhattisgarh on November 7. The second phase is being held on the 17th. Also, the first round of elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17th. Elections in Telangana will be held on November 30. As a result of the completion of the elections in the respective states, the central forces are coming to Telangana in stages. Meanwhile, top leaders of all parties are coming to the city to organize campaigns and roadshows. The police officers of Tri Police Commissionerates are preparing a special action on this. Huge arrangements are being made for roadshows and meetings. Precautionary measures are being taken to avoid any untoward incident. Precautionary measures are being taken to prevent disruption of peace and order in the peaceful old town.

Strong vigilance on cash smuggling:
Rachakonda CP held a coordination meeting on Wednesday with District Expenditure Supervisors and Election Officers on the measures taken in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district since the beginning of CP election notification process. On this occasion, security measures taken since the notification was issued, checkpoints, illegal cash, liquor and drug smuggling cases were discussed. Officials of other departments who participated in this meeting explained about the programs undertaken on behalf of their department. On this occasion, CP Chauhan said that check posts have been set up at all necessary places in Rachakonda and armed checks are being carried out. He said that CC cameras have also been installed in the inspection areas. Illegal money, liquor and other items are being seized in the presence of the Executive Magistrate. Bhuvanagiri Zone DCP Rajesh Chandra, IAS Officer Kondiga Hanumanth, IPS Vipul Kumar and others participated in this meeting.

CP DS Chauhan inspected the check posts
Rachakonda Police Commissioner DS Chauhan inspected the election security and staff performance at the check posts. On Wednesday, he visited the Kothaguda check post under the Greater Amberpet Police Station. Inquired about the security arrangements there. The staff were made aware of the precautions to be taken in the wake of the elections and the matters related to vehicle inspections. The CP explained that all necessary security measures are being taken for the smooth conduct of the elections. He said that more check posts will be set up wherever necessary and strong surveillance has been set up to stop illegal cash and liquor.

Extensive inspections..Rs 3.58 crore cash seizure
In the wake of Assembly elections, extensive inspections are going on across Hyderabad district. A huge amount of cash and illegal liquor are being seized during these checks. As part of the election code of conduct, Rs 1,15,000 was caught by flying scud in one day on Wednesday. Election Officer Ronald Ross said that Rs.3,58,47,450 cash has been seized so far. Apart from this, it is stated that Rs 49,50,20,372 cash has been seized by the police authority. He said that 727 FIRs have been registered. 3150 Nakkas operations, two cases have been registered under election code of conduct violation.(PMI)
