People fed up with BJP & Congress: Kavitha

Hyderabad, March 23 (PMI): Launching her election campaigning from Pembarla-Konapur in Sarangapur of Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency, MP Kavitha today said the BJP and the Congress would lose the electoral battle in the general elections.

Speaking at an election meeting in Jagtial today, Kavitha said Jagitial was made into a district by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who is known for launching novel welfare schemes for the farmers and others in the State to ensure smooth and transparent governance. “We fought just for half-an-hour and achieved high court, AIIMS and new railway lines to the State. The Centre did not respond to our efforts for providing reservations to the tribals and Muslim minorities”, Kavitha said.

Condemning the BJP leaders’ comments that the Centre share was major for pensions in the State, she clarified that the Centre was giving only Rs 200 and the state was contributing Rs 2,000 now. “The people have to decide whether they need the national parties or regional party giving more pension. The government will help DWACRA women in future and provide housing for the poor”, she added.

The Nizamabad MP said the TRS will play a key role at the Centre by winning 16 MP seats in the general elections. She alleged that the Congress was fielding farmers in the poll fray as it lacks candidates. KCR was happy as farmers are getting benefit from Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema and pension schemes. Kavitha exuded confidence that people will bless the TRS to win sll the MP seats in the State and have our voice heard in Parliament. “We can achieve our rights for State development by winning 16 MP seats”, Kavitha said, adding that during the past five years TRS MPs fought with the government for funds for development of Telangana State.

Kavitha said she raised voice of the people in Parliament and fought for Turmeric Board and developed Nizamabad constituency to some extent. “Further, on being elected again with people’s blessings, I will make our voice heard in the Centre”, she said. The national parties were not being trusted by the people, who will vote regional parties to form the government at the Centre. She charged that the BJP and the Congress were confusing the people ahead of the polls by making false charges against the TRS government. “We are servers in streets and soldiers in Delhi to get our issues resolved”, Kavitha said.
