Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP and president of Telangana Jagruti K. Kavitha gave Rs1 lakh to a local sports man who has been selected for National Sports Training Center in Patiala.The sports man Rajeshwar, a native of Nizamabad has been selected for Netaji Subash National institute of Sports under Hand-ball category. Rajeshwar has been depressed when he learnt about the institution fees. As his parents were daily wage laborers, he could not afford the fee cost. The Hand-ball player has a younger brother Mahesh and a sister, who is fighting with cancer.
Seeing her brother in depression, Mahesh took the matter to MP Kavitha. The Telangana Jagruthi president immediately reacted to the issue and gave Rs1 lakh cheque for the fees. She also learnt about Rajeshwar’s sister and promised the family that the girl will get treated.
