Hyderabad April 24 (Newslines): The president of All India Shia Majlise Olama wo Zakireen Hyderabad (Hindustan) declared Mah-e- Ramazan moon has been sighted today so the first Ramazan 1441 (H) will be on 25th April 2020 through a WhatsApp message. He said in his message that Moon has been sighted and it has been confirmed (Tasdeeq), but he did not disclosed whether the moon sighting confirmation if from Hyderabad or the news of moon sighting has been received from any other place in India. The very question raised in the sighting of moon of Mah-e- Shabaan regarding the witness has not been disclosed by the committee.
However it is a good news for Momeneen that there is no more discrepancy from the side of Olama’s on the announcement of the news of moon sighting.
Hope the Olama’s will continue to play their role religiously on the sighting of the moon of the Month of Shawwal so that the Eid is celebrated by the whole community unitedly on the same day.
Momeneen are of the view that the Olama of Telangana State Particularly Hyderabad City should come under one banner and form a joint Chand Committee (Moon Sighting) committee and appoint their representatives (Who’s can witness according to Shariah) from various places in the city as well as all the districts of Telangana State.
