Hyderabad: Demanding the state government to arrest Goldstone Prasad Simmediately, former Minister and Nalgonda MLA Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy said that Goldstone Prasad was inHyderabad for the last five days. Komati Reddy, who staged dharna for a while, made it clear that he will intensify his fight against the state government in case it failed to arrest Goldstone Prasad.
After submitting the memorandum to the Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy at Ministers Quarters here on Tuesday on Miyapur Land Scam issue, Komati Reddy said that it was atrocious on the part of the government as it was failed to arrest Prasad. He said that TRS Rajya Sabha MP Dr K Kesava Rao too given back his lands while knowing about the scam. “The Home Minister didn’t know whereabouts of Prasad. Home assured that the Police will arrest Prasad”, he said and assured that he will stand by the victims of Goldstone Prasad.
Stating that the value of Miyapur lands was Rs.50,000 crore and the kingpin the scam was Goldstone Prasad, Komati Reddy alleged that the state government mum on the scam after transferring the sub-registrars. The government failed to file a case against Prasad. Prasad deceived KK and handed over the lands to the latter, he said and demanded the Chief Minister to interfere in the case immediately. He said that the TRS government was trying to shield the Miyapur Land Scam while bringing drugs case on to the screen.
Former MLAs Chirumarthy Lingaiah and Prathap Reddy accompanied Komati Reddy.
