Overstaying foreigners rounded up in city

Hyderabad, Aug.10 (PMI): The city police has launched a campaign to ferret out foreigners, who were staying here even after expiry of their visa period.

Task Force police led by DCP Limbareddy raided some houses in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills and conducted searches. So far, 20 foreigners who were staying beyond their legal visa period were taken into custody and they were shifted to Goshamahal and Mallepally police stations.

The city police have launched this campaign to arrest foreigners who were living here even after expiry of their visa period and they would be repatriated to their countries. (PMI)
