Dreams of Unemployed Youth Being Realised in Telangana: Ponguleti

Hyderabad, Feb.29 (PMI): Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the dreams of Telangana’s unemployed youth are being realized by taking up a series of job notifications under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

            In a release here on Thursday, the Minister reminded that so far about 23,000 posts have been filled within three months since the Congress government came to power in Telangana. Apart from the recruitment of police, staff nurse, Gurukulam, and Singareni jobs, the Group-1 notification with 63 additional posts and mega DSP with 11,062 teacher posts have been notified, he said.

            The Minister stated that the State government has issued orders to provide compassionate appointments to 178 dependent families of deceased Village Revenue Officers (VRO) in any government posts, following requests from the dependent families.

            “Due to the cancellation of the VRO system in the previous government, the VROs had suffered a lot. However, the Congress government has positively understood their problems and decided to utilize their services in a better way,” Ponguleti said.

            He further stated that the State government will take appropriate measures to strengthen the revenue department for the implementation of every welfare scheme and will also appoint a revenue officer for each village in the days to come. (PMI)
