Chandrashekar Reddy completes five years as Sangareddy SP

Sangareddy: June 10 ( PMI )   In a record of sorts, Superintendent of Police S Chandrasekhar Reddy completed five years as Superintendent of Police. He was appointed as SP of erstwhile Medak district on May 23, 2016. Sanagreddy was the headquarters of the reorganised Medak district. When the new districts were created in October 2016, Sangareddy district was formed, making Sangareddy as its headquarter. Chandrashekar Reddy has continued to serve as SP of Sangareddy since then. The 2004-batch IPS officer was promoted to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) rank in 2019, but the government has continued him in the same post. According to available records, no IPS office has served for five years as SP in a district in the past in Telangana.
