Hyderabad, Stating that he has life threat from Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham, former MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah said the Veeresham will alone be responsible if anything happens to him.
Speaking to the media at Nalgonda town on Tuesday, Lingaiah alleged that Veeresham with criminal background played role in the murder of Nalgonda Municipal chairperson Boddupalli Laxmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas. Veeresham was indulging criminal activities with the active support of Minister G Jagdeesh Reddy, he said, adding that Veeresham made an innocent person to level allegations against Komatireddy Brothers claiming they have given “supari” to kill him. Veeresham was known for indulging in “settlements” by going to forest without gunmen, he alleged. “The MLA threatened me when I undertook padayatra in the constituency. Veeresham made several threatening calls to me during Nakrekal sarpanch election. Veeresham also killed Vasantha and NV Prasad couple, he alleged.
