Dattatreya urges state govt. to speed up DBH scheme

Hyderabad,   Union minister for labour and employment Bandaru Dattatreya has inspected the proposed Double Bed Room houses construction site at Sai Nagar, Lalapet, Marredpally Mandal, Secunderabad and interacted with beneficiaries.

Later addressing Media, the union minister said the process of construction of double bed room houses and identifying beneficiaries are very slow pace and urged the state government to expedite the process.

           He said the pace of land pooling, tendering, identifying beneficiaries etc. all are at very slow pace.  He advised the State Govt to focus on Court Litigations to make construction fast. The total houses to be constructed is 104 with a cost of Rs 8.03 crore.

           Recalling his experience, Dattatreya said that while he was Member of Parliament during 1991-96 he was instrumental in granting House Site pattas to the residents of the colony in the year 1996.  Dattatraya urged the State Govt to expedite the process of Construction of Double bed room houses.

           Dattatreya visited each house in the area and inquired on the employment and other wellbeing aspects of the inmates.  He urged the State Govt to Focus on Skill Development for Youth of slums in Telangana.  The Govt of India on its part is also imparting skill development, career training to youth especially of SCs, STs and Physically Handicapped through Training Centers in Advanced Training Institute (ATI) Vidyanagar, Hyderabad.

        He declared that Sixth Job Mela in Telangana by Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt of India will be conducted at Nizamabad on 19th August, 2017.

 Dattatreya also inaugurated a Web Site connecting Scientists, Scientific Companies and Science Students for Job Creation developed by an Entrepreneur.
