Hyderabad, BSNL Broad Band Modems were infected by botnet virus on July 24. So far 12308 complaints are received and out of this 11521 are attended (93.6%). Before the virus attack, the peak Hour transactions were 2,47,741 ( per hour) and today, the transactions are 2,29,298 (per hour) (92.56%) . This shows that network is resuming to normalcy.
Control Rooms are opened in all Districts for taking complaints and guiding customers. Customers also can walk into the nearest Customer Service Center with their Modems for getting the Modems reconfigured. L. Anantharam, Chief General Manager, Telecom, Telangana Circle, Hyderabad has assured all the customers that all the necessary steps have been taken to resolve the issue.
