As per the instructions of the superior officers and respected Jt. Commissioner of Police, HFAC DCP, WZ, Hyd officer to curb the illegal activity of sale of Ganja in Dhoolpet area, the Police Mangalhat started collecting clues & information about sale & supply of Ganja especially significant quantity of Ganja. Whereas collected credible information about the regularly supply of Ganja in the limits of P.S Mangalhat, Hyd. On the instructions of the Jt.C.P officer, the Police Mangalhat kept watch continuously and after making hard efforts on 21.05.2021 at about 18:20hrs, apprehended accused person A.1 S.Lakhan Singh with possession of one plastic gunny bagcontaining Ganja weg.6 KGs. On which a case was registered CRIME NO.114/2021, U/s.8(c), r/w.20 (b) (ii) (C) of NDPS Act – 1985 against A.1 and took up further investigation.The A.1 admitted their guilt in the commission of offence leads to seizure of property.

HISTORY OF THE ACCUSED:
The A.1 to A.4 are cousin brothers and residing in a house at Mangalhat Market, Hyd. The A.1 previously involved in many criminal cases of extortion, hurts, etc., and A.1 was detained under P.D Act in the year 2015. After that A.1 started indulging in Ganja business since last (5) years and from last (7) months onwards A.1 along with his cousins i.e., A.2 to A.4 altogether indulge in Ganja business. About (10) days back, A.1 to A.4 purchased the Ganja weg.15 KGs from one unknown villager at Rs.60,000/- and in this days, A.1 to A.4 sold out Ganja weg.9 KGs. Yesterday i.e., 21.05.2021 at 17:45hrs, A.1 came with remaining Ganja weg.6 KGs at near R.K.brothers shop, Gode Ki Kabar, Mangalhat for selling the Ganja to needy along with A.2 to A.4. The A.1 started waiting for A.2 to A.4 to come, meantime at about 18:20 hrs, on receipt of credible information, patrolling staff apprehended the A.1 red-handedly with possession of Ganja weg.6 KGs.
