photo exhibition on the importance of Yoga in city

Hyderabad, Three 3-day photo exhibition on the importance of Yoga in daily life has been orgnised by the Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) under the Ministry of Information Broadcasting @ the Jubilee Bus station , Secenderabad on the occasion of International Yoga Day.

Ms. Nalini Kiran, Cantonment Board member along with shri Mir Firasath Ali Baqri Spokesperson Telangana inaugurated the exhibition Speaking on the occasion, she said that yoga is the panacea for many life style diseases, mankind is facing today.

In his inaugural address Shri M. Dvendra, Director, ROB said that we should practice yoga daily and benefit from it.

Shri P. Ratnakar, Deputy Director, PIB, Hyderabad said that practice of yoga regularly has many health benefits.

Shri V. Vijaya Kumar, Deputy Director, DPD & Shri Mir Firasath Ali Baqri, Spokesperson BJP Telangana,said ROB conduct exibition in Dalar Jung Museum to awareness of the govt of India various programs in a big way

The exhibition contains panels depicting various yoga asanas and poses, and Surya namaskaras and the various mental and physical health benefits when they are practiced on a daily basis.

Artistes of the Song and Drama Division, enacted a message oriented play ‘YOGAM’, depicting how technology has invaded our lives, affecting human relationships.

Prizes were distributed to govt girls high school(west marratpally) childrens who have won the essay and elocution competitions organized by the
Regional Outreach Bureau. The children were later shower how to practice pranayama techniques and yogasanas, by yoga master.
Shri G. Sayanna MLA Secunderabad cantt, constituency visited the venue and appreciated the efforts of ROB HYDERABAD for organising an interesting event .

Dr. P. Manas Krishna Kanth, AD, ROB, Shri Koteswara Rao, FPO, Smt. Bharata Lakshmi , FPO and several other Information & Broadcasting Officials also participated.
