Elect KCR for continuation of Rythu Bandhu scheme: KTR

Hyderabad, Nov.20 (PMI): BRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao urged the people to cast vote in favour of BRS and elect K Chandrashekar Rao as the Chief Minister for the third consecutive term for the continuation of Rythu Bandhu scheme.

KT Rama Rao undertook roadshows at Yadagiri Gutta, Bhuvanagiri and Miryalaguda towns on Monday.

Speaking at the roadshows, he said the Chief Minister was the only leader who could come up with a farmer friendly scheme like Rythu Bandhu and KCR has to be re-elected for the continuation of Rythu Bandhu scheme in Telangana.

Ridiculing TPCC president Revanth Reddy’s comments where he said the Congress party had patents on free power supply, KTR asked where was quality power when Congress was in government.

“Before 2014, Congress promised six hour power supply, but couldn’t even give three hours of power. Revanth Reddy’s three hour power cut and use of a 10 hp motor for farming reflects his knowledge on farming. Only KCR can give 24 hr power supply. If giving power was that easy then, why couldn’t congress give,” he said.

“Do you want the quality power supply or Congress?” If people want to vote for Congress which gave Rs. 200 pension or BRS which is giving Rs. 2000 pension,” KTR asked.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi when in opposition cried over the gas cylinder price hike and after becoming PM, he increased Rs. 800 on the gas cylinder.

“If BRS is voted to power, CM KCR will bear Rs. 800 and will provide the gas cylinder for Rs. 400 to the people in Telangana,” KTR said.

He said the Congress couldn’t develop Yadagiri Gutta, failed to give water, power supply and did not implement progressive schemes which were being implemented now by the BRS government. The Yadadri is being transformed massively, giving competition to Tirupathi, he said.

KTR stated that this election will decide the fate of Telangana State and people should make a wise decision while casting their vote on November 30.(PMI)
