10 YEARS RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT AND FINE AMOUNT OF RS. 5,000/- FOR THE OFFENCE PUNISHABLE U/S 304 (B) IPC

Cr.No.574/2015 vide SC.No.195/2016 U/s 304(B) IPC of PS Rajendranagar, Cyberabad.

Hyderabad; 07 Nov 2023 ( PMI ): occurred on 08.05.2015 around 2200 hrs at plot no 38 sun rise colony, Upparpally village , Rajendranagar Mandal , reported on 09.05.2015 at 11.30 hrs by the complainant who is elder sister of deceases in which she stated that her younger sister / Deceased Smt. Mala Dasari Bhavani, Age: 22 Yrs, R/o Chintalmet, Upparpally, has entered into wedlock with the accused Mala Dasari Tirupathi S/o Purandara, Age: 25 yrs, Occ: Mason, R/o Sun Rise colony Upparpally, after their marriage they lead normal conjugal life for about 1 year, after 1 year the accused subjected her to harassment both physical and mental for additional dowry. On 08.05.2015 at around 22.00 hrs the accused picked up a quarrel with her for additional dowry at their house and bet her, the deceased vaxed on her life due to unbearable harassment of the accused for additional dowry, Poured kerosine herself and set ablaze with match stick. As a result she received several burn injuries and died on the spot.
As per the contents of the above complaint Sri. S. Venkat Reddy Inspector of Police Rajendranagar has registered a case in Cr. No Cr.No.574/2015 U/s 304(B) IPC and investigation handed over to Sri. K. Ganga Reddy ACP Rajendranagar. He took up the investigation in to this case, during the investigation he arrested the accused on 16.05.2015 and send him to judicial custody, after completion of the investigation he filed charge sheet in the Hon’ble court. During the trial the Hon’ble XI ADJ Court at LB. nagar convicted the accused Mala dasari Tirupathi S/o Purandara, Age: 25 yrs, Occ: Mason, R/o Sun Rise colony Upparpally for 10 years of Rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs-5000/-
