Hyderabad June 28; Today, Hon’ble Judge Sri. R. Raghunath Reddy, IX ADJ Court, at LB Nagar has delivered the verdict in Cr No.477/2018, U/S 376(2)(i)(h)(n) IPC, & Sec 3(a) (c) 4 & 5 of Pocso Act -2012, of Mailardevpally PS. Vide Sc No. 545/19.
In this case, the accused person committed rape on a minor girl aged about 14 years. Accused is Arun Kumar Tanti, S/o Puchan Tanti, age: 27 years, Occup: Labour Brundavan colony, Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy district N/o Mahadevpur village, Tarar, Gogha, Bhagalpur district, Bihar state.
He is sentenced “to undergo 10 Years Rigorous Imprisonment and pay fine of Rs-2000/-“
The details of the case are as follows:
On 22.05.2018, a case was reported at Mailardevpally PS. The accused Arun Kumar Tanti was working in a company as labor. The accused is a neighbor of the victim. He developed a closeness with the Victim and used to talk to her frequently. One day at about 20.00 hours, the accused took her into bushes nearby their house on the pretext that he wanted to talk to her and raped her by threatening that he would beat her with a stick. Later, on 10-05-2018, the accused again took her to the same place and committed rape on her in the same way.
The Mailardevpally Police Station officials had investigated the case and prosecuted the accused person.
