Suman exposed CM’s wrong policies: Revanth

Hyderabad,  Stating that 24-hour power supply was possible only with the policies prepared by then Congress government, Congress new entrant A Revanth Reddy has said that he was congratulating Peddapally MP Balka Suman for exposing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s wrong policies.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday along with Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar and TPCC official spokesperson Dasoju Sravan Kumar, Revanth Reddy said that the situation arose to official to go to jail with the decisions of KCR in regard to power sector. He alleged that KCR was purchasing power from private firms by reducing the production capacity of Genco. The government runaway in regard to discussion on power purchases and power production, he said and stated that the government was trying to escape from the issue by scolding Congress party leaders.

Reminding TRS leaders’ statement that Revanth Reddy was a small molecule, Revanth Reddy said that a small fire molecule was enough to burn the estate. He said that the state was freed from power scarcity due to the allocation of 53.8 percent power to Telangana state by then UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in State Reorganisation Act.

Reminding Balka Suman’s statement that the FIR was filed only two officials in regard to Bhadradri Power Plant, Revanth Reddy said that Balka Suman itself exposed mistakes of KCR. He said that Suman was trying to fix the Chief Minister and hence Suman was stating that KCR took bad decisions in regard to power sector. “It is must that KCR will go to jail with his own decisions”, he said and alleged that TRS government was increasing the electric fares instead of reducing them. He reminded that the South Central Railway officials too addressed a letter to the Chief Minister asking the latter to reduce the power tariff. The TRS government given Rs.900 crore to the power companies and entering into MOUs but the government failed to take the power in return.

He asked Suman to tell as to why he was supporting to the irregularities of the state government. Describing KCR as a merciless killer, Revanth Reddy said that he was ready to prove the corruption took place in power sector. He said that the power minister was address-less though the discussion on power was going seriously and in the same manner nobody knows as to where IT Minister KTR and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao were. He said that the state government purchased power through online on Friday too and alleged that the government was indulging in corruption on everyday by purchasing power every day. He asked KCR, who stated many a time in the Assembly that he will keep the persons in jail if made baseless allegations, to put him jail if the latter had guts.
