Rs 75 crore for Journalists in the Budget: Etala

Hyderabad,  The Telangana State Government today allotted Rs 75 crore for the welfare of journalists in the State in addition to Rs 130 crore already given for their welfare.
Finance Minister Eatala Rajender, who presented the budget for 2018-19 financial year in the Assembly here today, said the government was according top priority to the welfare of the journalists as it implements schemes for the welfare of the other classes. The Press Academy was offering Rs 1 lakh ex gratia and other income for livelihood to the family of deceased journalist.
Rajendar also said the State government has allotted Rs 100 crore each for welfare of Advocates and Brahmins. He said that Rs 1000 allotted for Brahmin welfare, Rs 1000 cr for MBC Corporation, Rs 2oo cr for Rajakas federation, Rs 250 cr for Nayi Brahmins and BC development Rs 5920 crore.
