Hyderabad: Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that the State government has taken up land survey only to escape from distributing three acre land to dalits.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, VH said that the KCR government raised curtains to land survey drama only to show bare hand to dalits and would tell dalits there was no land for distribution after the survey.
Terming sheep distribution as a gambling, VH sarcastically said the distribution of sheep and buffaloes to BCs was over and only donkeys remained to be distributed.
VH said the government has insulted women by distributing poor quality of saris and opined that the real Bathukamma to Telangana women would be when they wear what KCR’s daughter Kavitha wears.
He also said majority of people were opining that there was no need for the construction of new secretariat and alleged that the government was enacting new dramas one after the other forgetting assurances given to the people during elections.
