Youth runs for 240 km to popularize Haritha Haram

Hyderabad, A youth B Tirupati has taken up a run from Hyderabad to Manthani to make the State government’s prestigious ‘Haritha Haram’ program a big success. The former MP and Advisor to Government G Vivek and Manthani MLA Putta Madhu flagged off the run today at Gun Park.

Earlier, Vivek and Madhu paid tributes to the martyrs at Gun Park. Speaking on the occasion, Vivek said the environment would be balanced with the Haritha Haram program. He called upon the youth to participate voluntarily in Haritha Haram program. Putta Madhu said they will plant one lakh saplings on July 31 as part of Haritha Haram program and Tirupati has taken up the run to campaign about the program.

Tirupati said he has taken up the run to give wide publicity to Haritha Haram launched by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He said he would reach Manthani by running 240 km within two days.
