Hyderabad, Jan.25 (PMI): Congress leader V. Hanumanth Rao today accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of making people liquor addicts. He said permit rooms allowed by the State government had become a haven for the boozers. Addressing mediapersons here, Hanumanth Rao demanded that the State government impose fine on those who consume liquor in public places. He also demanded that the State government remove all permit rooms from the State. Pointing out that the consumption of liquor was increased in the State due to the permit-rooms attached to wine shops, Rao ridiculed that the total number of liquor shops had exceeded the total ration number of ration shops in the State. He also alleged that the TRS government was imposing fines on people and sending them to jails leading to loss of jobs of the victims (PMI)
