Hyderabad: UK Telugu Hindu Organization (UTFO) launched its first programme in UK, hosted first seminar in London on July 16, ‘Journey of Indian Education System – Macaulay to Modi.
This seminar was intended to provide a platform to exchange views on Indian educational system. The Chief Guest and keynote speaker P Murali Manohar (NCERT Member and Ex All India ABVP president), addressed Indian community and briefed the history about education system and methodology in India. He also described the contribution of Indian education to the world community in the fields like mathematics, metallurgy, astrology, Astronomy, Dance, Music and Yoga etc before Macaulay.
The Co-coordinator Suresh Mangalagiri briefed its aims and objectives about the organization to promote cultural activities and educate the young generation about humanitarian values, seva and Dhrma which are embedded and oldest dharma.
The other prominent persons included Dr Madhukar Ambekar, ex-President of Overseas Friends of BJP, and core members of organization Praveen Mannem and Durgaprasad.
