Hyderabad, May 5 (Zahid Hussain-PMI): On Thursday, the Gachibowli police apprehended two robbery offenders identified as Diwate Prashanth and Golla Janardhan Yadav, who have committed robbery under the limits of Gachibowli police station of Cyberabad Commissionerate and recovered one gold chain, two cell phones and one Apache bike from their possession.
A1 Diwate Prashanth, 23 years, is unemployed. He earlier worked as office boy at IDBI campus near Gachibowli and was residing at Yadavgalli, Shaikpet. A2 Golla Janardhan Yadav, 25 years, was working as Housekeeping Supervisor on SBI campus, opposite HCU campus. He was residing at Gowthaminagar, Chandanagar. He is a native of Dhanghaarpally, Tandur Town.
On April 27, 2023, the victim girl working at TCS, Adibatla reached Gachibowli in office bus till Gachibowli bus stand and was walking towards her hostel. At about 2105 hours, a person snatched her gold chain and fled. She lodged a complaint with the police immediately. During the probe, it was found that two persons were involved in the offence, who had arrived on Apache bike.
Yesterday at 2030 hours while vehicle checking at Indiranagar, two suspicious persons were found on a red colour Apache bike and they were trying to escape by noticing police. The police apprehended the suspects, who confessed to the crime.
A2 Golla Janardhan Yadav of Tandur was working as housekeeping supervisor at SBI campus, opposite HCU campus. Both A1 and A2 planned to snatch chains from lonely women in the isolated areas. A1 was observing the lonely walking victim on the DLF road. A2 was waiting on the Apache bike. Later, both A1 and A2 snatched the gold chain from the victim and fled on the bike from the spot.
The police formed five special teams, verified the CC cameras and detected the case of Robbery/Snatching and apprehended Diwate Prashanth and Golla Janardhan Yadav and recovered one gold chain, two cell phones and one Apache bike from their possession.
The case was investigated by DI K. Ravinder with the assistance of crime staff, under the supervision of Inspector G. Suresh, Gachibowli PS under the able guidance of K. Raghunandan Rao, ACP, Madhapur division, N. Narsimha Reddy, Addl DCP, Madhapur Zone and under the leadership of K. Shilpavalli, DCP, Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad. (press media of india)
