TWO HELD BY TASK FORCE COMMISSIONER (NZ) FOR TRANSPORTING HUGE AMOUNT PURPOSE FOR DUBBAKA BY-ELECTION

Hyderabad Nov 1 (PMI): The Commissioner of Task Force North Zone team along with Begumpet Police after receiving information from reliable sources today afternoon busted an illegal transport of huge amount money to be distributed to the voters in the Dubbaka constituency By-Election.

Elaborating on the seizure the Commissioner of Police Hyderabad, Mr. Anjani Kumar IPS, said that Surabhi Srinivas Rao, running a business of Technical Manpower Supply in the city since last ten years, native of Siddipet Town and settled in Hyderabad and his driver T. Ravi Kumar resident of Chanda nagar in RR district has been arrested along with the cash, mobile phones and the Innova car in which they were travelling has been seized and handed over to the SHO Begumpet for further investigation.

He said that on preliminary investigation it has come to notice that Raghunandan Rao, contesting candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Dubaka Assembly Constituency is the brother in-law of the accused Surabhi Srinivas Rao who collected the money from one Manager of Vishaka Industries belonging to ex MP of Peddapally, G.Venkata Swamy to be delivered in Dubbaka.

 

The seizure was made under the supervision of P. Radhakishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police (OSD), Addl DCP SB Muttam Reddy, Commissioner’s Task force, Hyderabad by Sri. K. Nageshwar Rao, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone and SHO Begumpet Sri. P. Srinivas Rao, SI Mohd. Takiuddin, North Zone Task Force, Hyderabad. (Press Media of India)
