TRS Govt Violating Students’ Rights—TPCC

Hyderabad: Alleging that the TRS government was indulging in vengeful activities towards universities, the TPCC Official Spokesperson K Manavatha Roy has said that the government was violating the rights of the students in the name of non-boarders in Osmania University.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, Roy alleged that the state government was trying to interfere in the activities of Osmania University and it was started with the appointment of vice-chancellors. There were no such instance in the past like TRS government’s attitude towards universities, he pointed out. The government failed to issue the DSC notification and to appoint university executive committee for the last several years. The police should not enter the universities, but the police are freely entering into the premises of universities, he lamented.
