Three officials trapped by ACB while taking bribe

Hyderabad, April 28 (PMI): The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau on Friday afternoon trapped three officials while demanding and accepting Rs 75,000 as bribe for doing official favour from a complainant.

       The principal accused Kethavath Nagamani, Tahsildar & Joint Sub-Registrar of Charakonda mandal, Nagarkurnool District, A2 Padisimi Raju, Dharani Operator in the office of Tahsildar & Joint Sub-Registrar, Charakonda mandal were caught when they demanded Rs 1,00,000 and accepted Rs 75,000 through A3 Gyara Venkataiah, private person from the complainant Talla Ravinder, Field executive in Mathru Bhoomi developers to do official favour i.e. for handing over four registered sale deed documents pertaining to the proprietor of Mathru Bhoomi developers. The tainted money was recovered from the possession of A3.

       The three accused i.e. Kethavath Nagamani, Tahsildar & Joint Sub-Registrar, Charakonda mandal, Nagarkurnool District, Padisimi Raju, Dharani Operator, A3 Gyara Venkataiah were arrested and produced before the I Addl. Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases Court at Nampally.

       The ACB authorities appealed to the people to call phone number 1064 in case of demand of bribe by any Public Servant. (PMI)
