There is no limit to arrogance of TPCC president : CM KCR

Hyderabad; 13 Nov 2023 (PMI): Launching an attack on Congress and strongly condemning the statement of TPCC president Revanth Reddy who said that Dharani portal will be scrapped and it will be thrown in the Bay of Bengal if Congress party is voted to power in the Assembly polls, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that there was no limit to the arrogance of the Congress president and he was speaking without having basic knowledge of the agriculture.

Addressing the Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Aswaraopet in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Monday, the Chief Minister said that the Congress leaders were trying to snatch farmers’ rights by speaking of removing the Dharani portal and reiterated that they would again push farmers into darkness if Congress voted to power.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister has cautioned that farmers will fall into problems, their lands will be snatched by others and they will have to make rounds to the court if Congress party is voted to power in the upcoming Assembly polls.

“The BRS government has given the rights to farmers to empower themselves, but the Congress party is trying to snatch the rights of farmers by removing the Dharani portal. Farmers should be cautious and will teach a fitting lesson to it in the election,” KCR said.

He also found fault with the statements of Congress leaders who said that the Rythu Bandhu scheme will be abolished and three hours power supply is enough for the agriculture if Congress voted to power, and said that the people should not believe promises of Congress leaders.

Later, the Chief Minister addressed another two public meetings at Burgampadu in Bhadradri Kothagudem district and Narsampet in Warangal district where he asked the people to cast vote for the development of Telangana State and to extend the support to BRS party in the upcoming Assembly polls.
