Sisters Tie Rakhis to KCR

Hyderabad,  “Raksha Bandhan” — the festival of sister-brother sentiment tying “rakhi for raksha” was today celebrated at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s official residence here on Monday.

At the Chief Minister’s camp office, Chief Minister KCR’s sisters tied rakhis to him and offered sweets. In turn, the Chief Minister took their blessings by touching their feet and presented saris to them on the occasion. Some women staffers in the camp office also tied rakhis to the Chief Minister.

Kavitha Ties Rakhi, Preksents Helmet To KTR

Nizamabad MP K Kavitha today tied a rakhi to her elder brother and IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival. She offered a helmet to KTR as part of “Sisters for Change” program, she launched. Later, the brother and sister exchanged sweets and KTR presented his sister a green handloom sari.
