Hyderabad, Jan.9 (PMI): Rachakonda CP Sri D.S. Chauhan IPS., visited She Teams Office of Rachakonda at LB Nagar and interacted with the staff to understand the work and functioning of She Teams and discussed about the same at CP Camp Office. DCP LB Nagar Sunpreeth Singh IPS., DCP She Teams, Saleema IPS., ACP She Teams S. Venkat Reddy, ACP LB Nagar Sridhar Reddy and other staff participated.
CP exhorted the She Teams to act tough and strict with eve teasers and exhibit zero tolerance towards them. Continuous patrolling and decoy operation should be conducted to catch eve – teasers and to provide a safe and secure environment to girls and women.
Cyber stalkings also need to be focused upon and a comprehensive action plan should be made to curb Cyber – Stalking. Awareness programs should be conducted in colleges and work places for girls and women. They should be given confidence and trust to reach out to police in case of need.
