Hyderabad, The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which grilled film actor Ravi Teja in connection with drug case, today questioned his former driver Srinivas Rao.
It may be mentioned here that the SIT was probing into the drug menace after it surfaced allegedly involving Tollywood personalities and others. The investigation officials grilled Srinivas for about three hours in Abkari Bhavan.
According to sources, the SIT officials questioned him about his links with drug mafia kingpin Kelvin and also asked him about his conversation on phone with Kelvin. Srinivas Rao worked as driver of Ravi Teja earlier.
Actor Ravi Teja was questioned on Friday for about nine hours. It was said Ravi Teja reported to have told the investigators that consumption of drug in rave parties was common. But he refused to reveal anything about his links with Kelvin. He also refused to give his nails, hair and blood samples for laboratory tests to establish or negate drug consumption.
