Hyderabad’ (Shoukat–PMI): Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand said that police job is a sacred job and one should perform the duty of protecting the lives of the people honestly by obeying the constitution. A ‘Deekshant Parade’ was organized on Thursday at the Car Head Quarters Parade Ground in Petla Buruju for 747 students from various districts who were recruited as postdoctoral cadet trainee police constables in AR, IT&C, PTO and mechanic departments.

City Police Commissioner CV Anand was the chief guest at the event. 212 cadets received training at the City Police Training Center, Petla Burju, 313 at the Begumpet Center, and 313 at Goshamahal. The cadets were trained in indoor classes on BNS, BSA, BNS, Special and Local Law, Law and Order, Crime and Investigation, Intelligence and Internal Security, Personality Development, Police Administration, Documentation, and outdoor classes on Yoga, Meditation, Physical Training, Squad Drill, Lathi Drill, Arms Drill, Parade Drill, Weapon Tactics and Firing, Traffic Drill Camp and Field Craft.

The report on the training process was presented by Principal Additional DCP Maddipati Srinivasa Rao. DCP of Car Head Quarters Rakshita Krishnamurthy administered the oath to the trainees. Later, the chief guest, CV Anand inspected the parade, received a salute from the parade and presented mementos to the winners of the respective competitions. Speaking on the occasion, CV Anand extended his best wishes to those who made the passing out parade a success.

He said that society cannot function if the police do not work for a single day. He recalled that he had received IPS training in 1992, that our passing out parade with 80 people was held in the rain, and that it would be 33 years since he joined the police department. He advised that the uniform he is wearing now should be something he can wear even after 30 years while maintaining physical fitness. He said that he has been maintaining fitness between 75-76 kg in 33 years of service, and that he will have to work hard for it. Whatever he does, he should think very carefully and work, and bring a good name to the police department through his services.

DCP / Principal City Police Training Center, Petaling Jaya, Shri Anand, Addl. DCP / Principal Metro Barrack Learning Center Goshamahal, Shri Bhaskar, Addl.
