Hyderabad, Jan.4 (PMI): The state police today arrested Dubbaka Assembly constituency from BJP M. Raghunandan Rao . The arrest took place when the MLA was trying to take part in a protest program in his constituency Dubbaka condemning the arrest of their party state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Rao was arrested at Tupran toll plaza while he was going to his constituency to attend the protest program. Although, the police tried to protest Rao at his residence in Hyderabad, they could not arrest him as he spoke to Assembly speaker and City Police Commissioner.
The BJP cadres have called for a 14 day long protest programs in the state protesting the judicial remand of Bandi Sanjay . The party cadres held the Protest programs by wearing black badges. (PMI)
