PM Modi alters his campaign schedule for Karnataka Assembly elections to avoid any inconvenience to candidates of NEET exam

Bengaluru ‘May ‘5 May:(PMI) Union minister and BJP’s Karnataka election convenor Shobha Karandlaje has informed that a slight change has been made in the road show of the Prime Minister to be held in Bengaluru tomorrow and day after. Addressing media persons in Bengaluru, she said that due to the concerns raised by students and parents on road show affecting them during the NEET exam on Sunday, the plan has been changed to avoid any disturbance to NEET students.

The May 6 and 7 road show route plans have been interchanged. That is to say that the Prime Minister will take a longer route of over 26 kms on May 6 and a shorter route of 8 kms on May 7th when the NEET will be held in the afternoon. Shobha Karandlaje assured that the road show will be over by 11.30 am much before the NEET commences at 2 pm.

The police have been instructed to help any student with a hall ticket to reach the exam centre and also make way for ambulances. Union minister Smrithi Irani addressed the media persons in Bengaluru today. Speaking about BJP manifesto she said that it promises five lakh houses for the urban poor, five kgs millets every month and half litre milk every day, seven rupees incentives on one litre milk, free transport for women from villages to Agri markets with a load of 50 kgs, enhance health insurance cover under Ayushman Bharat from five to 10 lakh rupees and improve healthcare infrastructure.

The Congress spokesperson Pavan Kheda accused the BJP government in the state of corruption and said the poor were deprived of all the benefits. He was addressing media persons in Bengaluru today. Another Congress leader Ramesh Babu charged that BJP has fixed rates for all the posts. Referring to the Congress advertisement in the media today, he said the rate card of BJP is published in the media today.(Press media of india)
