BRIEF FACTS:-
The accused J. Anil Kumar hails from Peddapally Dist., T.S., After completion of his studies,heshifted to Hyderabad. About two years back he joined in LaxmiPriya Nursing Home, Uppal as HR Manager. He knows very well about the demand ofRemdesivir (Covifor) injections in the market as these injections areutilizing as Antiviral medicine for Covid-19 patients.
As such saidJ. Anil Kumar hatcheda plan to earn easy money. Basing on his knowledge about hospital field, he procured Remdesivir injections in low price i.e. Rs. 4,500/- each vial through known sources and selling in black market @ Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- each vial to the needy customers who are suffering from Covid-19 and earning quick money illegally.
On 22-05-2021 basing on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Amberpet Police apprehended J. Anil Kumar and seized (04) Remdesivir 100Mg/20 Ml Vials from his possession.
The arrested accused and seized material handed over to SHO Amberpet Police for further investigation.
The above arrests were made by Sri. S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, South Zone and SIs S/Sri K. Chadnra Mohan,N. Srishylam,V. Narender, Mohd. Thakiuddin, & Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with AmberpetPolice, Hyderabad.(PMI)
