Merge TTDP with TRS–Mothkuapally

Hyderabad,  Senior TTDP leader and former Minister Mothkupally Narsimhulu has stated today that Telangana unit of TDP should be merged with the ruling TRS party.  He also said that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should visit Hyderabad to pay tributes to Telugu Desam Party founder and former Chief Minister late NT Rama Rao.
Narsimhulu’s remarks caused much sensation in TDP and assumed significance on the occasion of the death anniversary of NTR on Thursday. He wanted Chandrababu Naidu to rush to Hyderabad keeping all his work and protocol aside.
Mothkupally told the media that the Telangana unit of TDP is on the verge of extinction and no leader is in favour of the idea of TDP’s alliance with the BJP. He further said that the TDP cadre is disintegrating in Telangana state and hence the need for it’s merger with the TRS.   He recalled that even Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was a TDP man during the initial days of his political career. He also said that the merger would save the TDP from humiliation in the elections.
