KTR launches T Sat For Students, Farmers, Health

Hyderabad, July.26 (PMI): IT Minister K T Rama Rao today said that T SAT Network will telecast a wide gamut of programs for the cause of students, farmers and people.

Launching the T SAT Network at ITC Kakatiya, KTR said that the network will disseminate information for unemployed youth get training and skills to excel in competitive examinations and health information to people. It was planned to take out various government programs and schemes to the people through the network, he said.

Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy, Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy were present. The ministers launched network, logo, station ID, Ambedkar University Vice Chancellor Sittharama Rao launched Theme Song in the program attended by Mana TV CEO Shailesh Reddy, IT Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Mee Seva Commissioner and others.

Speaking on the occasion, KT Rama Rao said that Mana TV offered required information for unemployed in the state. T SAT services will be made available to the people through You Tube Channel and App he said. Hundreds of students are spending lakhs of rupees in coaching centers and the new T SAT network will prove handy for the information and skills they need to excel in the competitive examinations and get jobs, KTR said. He appealed to youth to make use of the channel to prepare for competitive examinations.

T SAT network is reaching out to 70 lakhs of houses and giving valuable information to lakhs of students the minister said. The team of the network will broadcast programs for the benefit of students and farmers. The IT Minister said that government programs and schemes will be taken out to all sections of people and the team of the network is working on provide useful information to all. Through Nipuna program special information will be offered for the benefit of the farmers KTR said. The Minister also said that special programs will be aired for sheep growers and fishermen and also health information.
