Komati Sure of Congress Sweeping Assembly Polls

Hyderabad: Exuding confidence that the Congress party will win 65 to 70 seats if the elections were held for Assembly immediately, former Minister and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy made it clear that he was in the PCC president race and said that the change of TPCC president will take place in October. He said that he urged the AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi to give PCC chief’s position to him.

In chitchat with the scribes at CLP Office here on Tuesday, Komatireddy threw a challenge at the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to contest the election against him if the latter had guts. He said that he will contest from Gajwel constituency in the next elections and defeat KCR. He said that the ruling TRS party will win only 30 seats in the 2019 elections.

The Congress party will win 80 percent of seats in erstwhile Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar and Khammam districts. He said that they will strive to bring the Congress party to power if made his brother and MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy or him as PCC president. He said that he has no in Chief Minister Post and Minister Post. Terming KCR as a dictator, Komatireddy said that former Chief Minister late NTR himself lost his election and said that the KCR to face the same fate. Alleging that the Chief Minister was humbugging the people with his bogus surveys, Komatireddy has predicted that the TRS will not get deposit in Nakerekal and Suryapet constituencies.
