KCR family members are in Sand mafia: All-Party Committee

Hyderabad,   Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family members were in sand mafia, all-party committee members said that the Chief Minister has victimized Nerella daliths to protect sand mafia. Seeking apologies from KCR and IT Minister KT Ramarao, all party committee demanded the state government to suspend officials concerned along with Sircilla district SP.

Speaking to media after submitting a memorandum to the state governor ESL Narasimhan on Nerella incident, the TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has said that all-party committee members have brought the issue of attack on daliths in Nerella to the notice of governor. Governor assured that action will be initiated against the officials responsible for Nerella incident. He alleged that the state government handcuffed farmers in Khammam district and now tortured daliths in Sircilla district extending support to sand mafia. Questioning the state government to tell as to why it was failed to initiate action against SP, who tortured daliths, Uttam alleged that all persons involved in sand mafia were relatives of Chief Minister. Claiming that Nerella incident took place with the interference of KTR, Uttam demanded KCR to tender apologies and KTR to tender his resignation to his Ministers post.  Uttam told that all-party committee will meet President Ramnath Kovind on the issue on August 21 and 22.

Alleging that KCR family indulging in money looting, TTDP president L Ramana stated that KCR family has links with sand mafia. He said that they urged governor to do justice to Nerella victims and demanded KTR to tender resignation to his minister post in case if he had ethics.

BJP state president Dr K Laxman said that the police indulged in atrocious act in Nerella. He asked state government to tell as to why it was not initiating action on the persons involved in the issue though the National SC Commission given a report. The government was trying to escape from the issue by suspending CCS SI. He demanded the state government to order high level inquiry into the Nerella incident and warned government saying that TTDP will wage movement along with other political parties on the issue in case the government failed to respond on it.

Demanding the state government to file SC, ST Atrocity case against Sircilla SP Vishwajith, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy made it clear that sand mafia’s hand was there in Nerella incident. He asked KTR to order inquiry into the issue if he had guts. He said that all-party committee urged governor to clear the secret behind sand mafia in Nerella.

TJAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram alleged that the state government violated the spirit of constitution intentionally in Nerella incident. The government kept constitution aside for the sake of mere sand mafia, he said. He revealed that they informed governor about irresponsible attitude of the state government.

Stating that 18 police personnel including SP were indulged in Nerella incident, Aam Admi Party leader Prof PL Vishweshwar Rao said that they urged governor to file SC, ST Atrocity case against the persons involved in Nerella incident.

TTDP senior leader Mothkupally Narasimhulu asked KCR to visit Nerella village if he really had humanity. Asking KCR to tell as to why he has bad impression towards SC, ST and BCs, Mothkupally said that he never saw incident like Nerella. It was atrocious on the part of KTR to say that he didn’t know about the incident. Questioning the state government to tell as to why the government was not initiating action against SP, Mothkupally opined that Nerella incident was a real blot on the face of Telangana state.
